Local government are seeking talks with Blackburn Rovers owners.

The leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council is seeking an urgent meeting with the owners of Blackburn Rovers to discuss concerns over the running of the club, says the Lancashire Telegraph.

Coun Kate Hollern has written a letter to Venky's boss Anuradha Desai, inviting her to meet town hall bosses at the earliest opportunity.

She said fans were unsure over who was responsible for the day-to-to running of the club, and that they had grown increasingly concerned over a lack of communication.
