James Wallace went out on loan to Stevenage but has now returned to parent club Everton without ever playing a game for the League One outfit. The confirmation of boss Graham Westley's switch from Broadhall Way to take the reins at Preston on Saturday has subsequently seen the 20 year old return to Everton.
The club's official website read:
"After discussions with Everton FC it was decided to be in the 20-year-old's best interests, after he was recruited by former manager Graham Westley prior to his departure.
"There is still a view to resurrecting the deal in the future, however as it stands Wallace has returned to the Premier League club." "Stevenage FC can confirm midfielder James Wallace has returned to his parent club Everton.
