Marc-Antoine Fortune, currently on loan at West Brom from Nancy, will make a decision on whether to stay at the Hawthorns at the end of the campaign. The 27-year-old French Guyana-born striker told the Birmingham Mail, "I am very grateful for the manager who has given me first-team football.
"I was happy to score my two goals for the club last week but for me it was not a perfect day because we lost. The team is what matters most.
"The next few months are a chance for me to do as well as I can. I am not considering what will happen at the end of my time here.
"My only intention is to try to help West Bromwich stay in the Premier League. Beyond that I have no thoughts. It is not something that I am worrying about yet.
"I just need to show the manager what I can do if I am given a chance. I will not think about anything else."
