Loanee Abu would prefer stability back with Man City

Manchester City midfielder Mohammed Abu has been loaned out five times in over three years since arriving at the Etihad in 2010. The 21-year-old Ghanaian who is currently on loan to French side FC Lorient told L'Equipe: "It is very difficult to always change your team. You have to adapt, show your worth."

Abu has said he is enjoying life in France and has comfortably settled in at his new club despite being unable to speak any French.

"Cheik Toure and Jeremy Aliadiere both speak English so I feel at ease (here)," he added.

Although the loan offer doesn't include an option to buy, Lorient could possibly to look to extend the deal - a move which would be welcomed by Abu.

"My future? I will be happy whatever will happen. It would be nice to find a place to settle in," he said.
