The agent of Kevin de Bruyne says the youngster is ready to force his way into the Chelsea first team.
The 21-year old Belgian is currently on loan with Werder Bremen but has improved so much in Germany that his representative Patrick de Koster suggests he will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer ready to become a key Blues player depending on who takes the managerial reins.
"The conversation was very positive. They are pleased with his progress and think he is ready to become part of the first team," De Koster told the Evening Standard after meeting with Chelsea.
"The only problem is there is still no clarity about who is head coach next season."
