Tottenham loanee Alex Pritchard led Swindon Town to a 3-1 victory over Carlisle in League One with the Englishman providing an assist and scoring a goal in a man of the match performance.
The Robins dominated the first half and were rewarded for the efforts in the 38th minute when Pritchard whipped in a pinpoint cross to former Spurs forward Massimo Luongo who headed home past Carlisle goalkeeper Ben Amos, on loan from Manchester United.
Carlisle drew level with twenty minutes remaining through Sean O'Hanlon's header. The scores were tied for a mere two minutes as Pritchard stepped up to curl home a wonderful free-kick past Amos to put Swindon ahead who eventually sealed the victory with Dany N'Guessan scoring in injury-time.
Swindon manager Mark Cooper spoke to the Swindon Advertiser after the game and was in full praise of Pritchard's display.
"We kicked on again from there and little Alex (Pritchard) scored another fantastic free-kick, I thought he was excellent and we sealed it at the end. On the whole I think we played quite well," Cooper said.
