Harry Kane is on the verge of a return to the Norwich City first team after starring for the U21 team.

The 19-year old striker, who is on loan from Tottenham, made his first competitive appearance since breaking his metatarsal in a Capital One Cup fixture at the end of September and scored two goals in the Canaries youth teams 3-1 win over West Ham United.

"I had a good 10 weeks rehab back at Spurs and the main thing is just to be back playing, there are no problems now so it is just about getting as many minutes as I can and then pushing on into the first team," Kane told Norwich's official website.

"Everything feels good, we will just have to wait and see how long it is now before I am back.

"The team's on fire and the lads are doing great."
