League Two club Hartlepool United have had deals for a pair of loan players extended.
Sunderland defender Scott Harrison and Middlebsrough striker Charlie Wyke initially joined the 'Pools on one-month contracts in August but will now remain at Victoria Park until the end of November after having their stays extended by two months.
21-year old Harrison has started the past four matches for the tier four team whilst Wyke, in his second spell with the Monkey Hangers, has scored three times in five outings for Colin Cooper who was delighted to have the pair at his disposal for a little longer.
"Charlie was excellent for us before he got the knock at Northampton so we're pleased he's sticking around," Hartlepool boss Cooper told the club's official website.
"I think the fans have seen already how much he's come on as a player since his last loan here and he looks like a player who is really enjoying his football so we're delighted to get things sorted.
"We're also pleased to get things done with Scott because he's a good defender who has done well since he came here.
"He was keen to stay with us after his first month expired because he's really enjoying his football so we're delighted we've been able to get the deal finalised."
