LOAN WATCH: Stoke's Agudelo buoyed after getting through full Utrecht debut

Stoke City forward Juan Agudelo was relieved to have gotten through his first full game in three months on the weekend.

The 21-year old attacker made his first start for loan club FC Utrecht as they forced a 1-1 draw with Dutch Eredivisie leaders Ajax at the Stadion Galgenwaard on Sunday.

Agudelo, who provided the equaliser for strike partner Steve de Ridder, was featuring for the second time for Utrecht following a half-hour cameo against Roda JC the weekend prior and he admitted he was completely spent after completing his first 90 minutes since early November when with the New England Revolution.

"I tried to sprint and my calves were cramping, but I was being pushed by my teammates to finish the game," Agudelo told MLSsoccer.com.

"It was a fun game. It was my first 90 minutes since November, but I think I was able to work through it and get the fitness I need to go forward."

Agudelo will get his next opportunity with Jan Wouters' side when they meet PEC Zwolle at home on Thursday night.
