Juan Agudelo contributed to a much-needed point for FC Utrecht in just his second appearance for the club.
The USA international, who is loan from Stoke City, was making his first start when he provided an assist for Steve de Ridder's leveller against league leaders Ajax on Saturday.
Former New England Revolution, Chivas USA and New York Red Bulls forward Agudelo flicked a long ball into the path of ex-Southampton striker de Ridder who fired home in the 33rd minute to draw Utrecht level.
Daley Blind had earlier given Ajax the lead but Utrecht's new strike partnership bandied together to allow the 12th-placed club to move three points clear of the Dutch Eredivisie drop zone.
