QPR's Loic Remy continued his dominance in front of goal for Newcastle United as the Magpies ran out 2-1 winners over Norwich City at St James' Park on Saturday.
After two minutes of play, Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye sent in a corner that was left untouched across Norwich's six-yard box and eventually fell to Remy, who calmly nodded home to set United up for the remainder of the match.
Yoann Gouffran doubled the advantage after 38 minutes, sealing all three points for Newcastle despite Leroy Fer's late goal for Norwich.
For Remy, his remarkable run of form continues having scored eight goals in 10 league outings since joining the Toon from QPR on loan in the summer.
Speaking to Sky Sports post match, Remy iterated that he feels he can still contribute further: "I think I can do more. I have just been back with the (French) national team so I was a little bit tired."
