Harry Kane remains on the sidelines at Norwich City following the ankle injury he picked up in the Capital One Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers on September 27.
The 19-year old striker joined the Canaries on a season-long loan from Tottenham in the summer but has managed just two appearances because of the problem.
Kane made his Norwich debut with a substitute appearance against West Ham United in mid-September before starting in the 1-0 league cup win over Doncaster before succumbing to injury early in the second half.
The England youth international was being touted for a return against Southampton on Wednesday night but it is believed that he will not even make Hughton's match day squad as he continues his recovery.
