Bradden Inman was on target in his first League One appearance for Crewe Alexandra.
The 21-year old Australian-born Scotland youth international is on loan from Newcastle United until January and made an immediate impact in the league with a goal in the 3-1 victory at Preston North End.
Inman scored Crewe's second goal in the 49th minute at Deepdale Stadium, either side of efforts from Luke Murphy and Mathias Pogba before Peter Huntington grabbed a consolation goal for the lilywhites.
Inman made his debut for Crewe in the Football League Trophy clash with Doncaster Rovers earlier in the week which the Alex won on penalties.
