Bradden Inman scored the only goal of the game as Crewe Alexandra beat Preston North End 1-0 in England's League One on Monday night.
The 21-year old Australian-born Scottish U21 midfielder, on loan from Newcastle United, scored from 12 yards as Crewe moved up to 13th on their tier three table.
Since arriving at Alexandra Stadium, Inman (who is eligible to play for the Australian senior team) has scored four goals in 14 league appearances for Steve Davis' Crewe side.
