Ravel Morrison has returned to West Ham United from his loan stint with Cardiff City.
The 21-year old midfielder joined the Championship club on a three-month deal in late September which was expected to run until December 26.
However, Morrison is now back with the Hammers after having his Bluebirds spell cut short due to 'personal circumstances'.
"Due to personal circumstances, Cardiff City have allowed Ravel Morrison compassionate leave and permission to train in more familiar surroundings at this time with his parent club, West Ham United," read a Cardiff City statement.
During his time in Wales, former Manchester United youngster Morrison, who has had previous loan spells with Birmingham City and QPR, made seven league appearances for Russell Slade's side.
