Sam Johnstone, who is on loan from Manchester United this season, has kept a clean sheet to help Aston Villa get a 0-0 draw against Brentford.
Brentford had 18 shots in total, with 5 shots on target and 4 corners, to keep Johnstone busy.
Johnstone's excellent performance has allowed Villa to gain a lucky point, that they weren't looking likely to win.
Johnstone was able to keep out Ollie Watkins twice, as well as Nico Yennaris, Yoann Barbet and Neal Maupay to keep Villa in the contest.
Both team's coaches were complimentary of his performance.
"It was frustrating, disappointing and (I'm) thankful to take a point. Sam Johnstone earned his spurs," said Aston Villa manager, Steve Bruce.
"We controlled the football and in the second half created these big chances. Unfortunately, Sam Johnstone who I had (on loan) at Walsall, kept us at bay," commented Brentford manager, Dean Smith.
Aston Villa play again on the 12th September against Middlesbrough.
