LOAN WATCH: Man City trio continue impressive Twente run

Manchester City's loanees were at it again for FC Twente as they defeated Go Ahead Eagles 2-0 in the Eredivisie on Saturday.

Goals from Yaw Yeboah and Bersant Celina did the job at the Adelaarshorst as Twente extended their unbeaten run in the Dutch top flight to five matches, which has them sitting with on the league table.

Yeboah was unlucky not to have opened the scoring early on when he skipped around his marker before seeing his near-post effort wonderfully saved by Theo Zwarthoed, before he was again denied by the Go Ahead Eagles gloveman just before the half-hour mark.

In the 34th minute, Celina fired into the upright from the edge of the area after some build-up play involving his City colleagues, before Unal did brilliantly to hold up play before sending Yeboah through on goal for the 19-year-old Ghanaian striker to fire beyond Zwarthoed with his right foot on the stroke of half-time.

Celina had a couple of efforts that weren't far off early in the second half before again hitting the post in the 79th minute in what was becoming a frustrating night for the young Kosovo internaitonal

But the 20-year-old wrapped it up for the visitors on 89 minutes with a deserved goal from 20 yards which was his fourth in six outings for Twente.

Between the three of them, Unal (7), Celina (4) and Yeboah (2) have 13 of Twente's 20 goals in the Eredivisie so far this term.

Celina also produced a celebration gone wrong before quickly throwing in a somersault to cover up the mess!
