LOAN WATCH: Loanees to Hull's rescue as Sunderland's Meyler, Man Utd's Brady do the job

Hull City had Sunderland and Manchester United players to thank for their 2-1 victory at Watford on Saturday.

Black Cats midfielder David Meyler and United winger Robbie Brady were on target as the Tigers moved up to fourth on the Championship table.

23-year old Meyler, on loan until January 1, opened his Hull account in the 41st minute when he headed home after Corry Evans' shot deflected off the crossbar before Brady did likewise in scoring his first Tigers goal for the season in the 73rd minute with a punishing 25-yard free-kick.

The Irish pair had put the Tigers two goals ahead before Troy Deeney grabbed one back for Watford in injury-time but the damage had already been done.
