LOAN WATCH: Liverpool's Borini scores as Sunderland draw with Southampton

Fabio Borini's second goal of the Premier League season helped Sunderland come from two goals down to rescue a point in their 2-2 draw with Southampton 2-2 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Dejan Lovren doubled Southampton's advantage after 30 minutes following Jay Rodriguez's early opener, however, Borini was on hand to claw one back a minute later.

Adam Johnson sent in a cross from the right wing, which found Borini, and the Liverpool loanee was fortunate to see his scuffed shot go past Southampton goalkeeper Artur Boruc despite the Polish stopper managing to get a hand on the ball.

With less than twenty minutes remaining, Johnson scored the equalizer, which capped an admirable comeback from Gus Poyet's side as they continue their climb from the doldrums of the Premier League table.
