Divock Origi says he is being watched very closely by parent club Liverpool while he is on at loan at Lille.
The 19-year old Belgian forward was signed by the Reds for £10million in the summer before being loaned back to the French outfit for the 2014/15 season.
Origi has scored four goals in 12 outings in all competitions so far this term and says his performances never go unnoticed by manager Brendan Rodgers the rest of the Liverpool coaching staff.
"The Liverpool manager regularly sends me a text message. They follow me and scouts attend all my games," said Origi who performed impressively for Belgium at the 2014 World Cup.
"Rodgers wanted to add me to his squad immediately, but Lille wanted me to stay for 1 more season. I had no choice.
"It's not that I don't want to go to Liverpool, I have ambitions.
"But it's an advantage I'm at Lille for a season where I can continue to develop and play a lot. That's the positive side of the story."
Origi is currently away with the Belgium national team as they prepare for Euro2016 Group B qualifiers with Andorra in Brussels on Friday and with Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica on Monday.
