LOAN WATCH: Lazio's Garrido wants Norwich stay

Javier Garrido is keen to make his loan move from Lazio to Norwich City a permanent shift.

The 27-year old Spanish left-back joined the Canaries on a season-long agreement in the summer with the option to extend beyond the end of the campaign.

Garrido has made 14 starts in the Premier League this term, playing in all of their past eight fixtures which has seen them string together an unbeaten run to move 12th on the table, and he is thrilled with how things are going at Carrow Road.

"At the moment I am so, so happy here," Garrido told reporters. "If things go like they look right now I would like to stay here because I feel so good, so comfortable.

"I've been playing, I love the games, I love the minutes, so that is the main thing for a footballer. At the moment I am really, really happy.

"It depends how the team finishes in the league and how many games I play for the team. So at the moment we have to wait and see."

He added: "At the moment I am enjoying it here, the people around me are happy also, which is good for me. The team-mates are great, the supporters give me a welcome also."
