Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon says he will not deny Leigh Griffiths access to Twitter.
The on-loan Wolves striker is under investigation for allegedly making a racist comment towards a user on the social networking site and although Fenlon has urged him to be careful, he says he cannot ban him from doing something that is part of his everyday life.
"You can start banning everything... players have to have some sort of a social life, as well," said Fenlon.
"It's about how you manage that. They have to look after themselves.
"You have to give them some responsibility for their own actions in the end.
"Twitter can be a dangerous tool, or it can be used in the right way - it's an individual thing. The players know the situation in relation to rules, discipline and everything. They clearly know where we stand.
"We have issued a statement on the situation, we will deal with it clearly as a club - and we are doing that."
