Yassine El Ghanassy has departed West Bromwich Albion to join Heerenveen on loan.
The 22-year old Belgian winger joined the Baggies on loan from Gent in the summer but has failed to find first team football at The Hawthorns and will now head to Holland for the remainder of the season.
"Due to the team's progress this season, Yassine has found first-team chances hard to come by, West Brom's sporting director Richard Garlick told the club's official website.
"We feel it is in everyone's best interests to allow Yassine to go out on loan and get some games under his belt."
Whilst El Ghanassy remains a Gent player, West Brom still retain the option to purchase him permanently at the end of the season if they see fit.
