Australian youngster Ryan Williams scored the opener as his loan club Oxford United defeated Hartlepool 3-1 at Victoria Park on Saturday.
Williams, who moved to the League Two side on loan from Fulham in the summer, netted after just five minutes when he curled a fine strike from 16 yards out to open his professional goal scoring account.
The 19-year old has made an impression on teammate Dean Smalley who spoke to the Oxford Mail after the game: "Ryan is like that day-in, day-out in training and he showed what a good player he is."
The win puts Oxford into second place on the League Two table on 18 points, clear of Mansfield and Fleetwood on goal difference.
