Nathaniel Chalobah was on target for Watford as they squandered a two-goal lead to be held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace on Friday night.
The 18-year old, who is on loan from Chelsea, gave the Hornets a comfortable advantage in the 14th minute at Vicarage Road when he nodded a bouncing ball into the back of an empty net following Almen Adbi's earlier opener.
However, Watford were denied victory when Peter Ramage pulled one back in the 66th minute prior to Blackpool loanee Kevin Phillips coming off the bench and equalising with 20 minutes remaining.
The draw allowed Gianfranco Zola's Hornets to remain third on the table, one point clear of fifth-placed Palace.
