Marko Marin insists he would be happy to remain with Sevilla if there is no future for him at Chelsea.
The 24-year old German attacking midfielder is on a season-long loan with the Spanish side after failing to make an impact at Stamford Bridge following his July 2012 move from Werder Bremen.
Marin has made 12 La Liga appearances this season while also featuring in the Europa League and admits he would be open to a permanent stay at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan if the Blues do not see him pushing for first team action next term and beyond.
"If both Sevilla and me are happy to stay, I can stay here forever," Marin told Estadio Deportivo.
"We'll see what happens in the summer. The first thing is to play, be fit and help the team in the end of the season and then we'll decide.
"If the fans want it, Monchi (Sevilla's sporting director) wants it and the coach wants it, why not?
"But the most important thing is to be fit and play.
"Speaking about a permanent move before that is not worthwhile because I can't help the team if I do not play."
