Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku scored twice in Everton's pulsating 3-3 draw with bitter crosstown rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park.
Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring for Reds, only too see his goal cancelled out three minutes later when Kevin Mirallas latched on to Ross Barkley's knock down to smash the ball into the roof of the net.
A brilliant free-kick from Luis Suarez saw Liverpool take the lead once again when he curled precisely around the wall past Tim Howard. The fiery clash remained goalless for another 50 minutes until Lukaku, who was wreaking havoc on Liverpool's defence throughout, deservedly equalized for the Toffees when he seized on a deflected James McCarthy shot to fire home.
The 20-year old Belgian didn't stop there when with eight minutes remaining, he rose above the Liverpool defenders to head past Reds keeper Simon Mignolet, putting Everton ahead with his seventh goal of the season.
Unfortunately for Lukaku, it didn't prove to be the match-winner as Liverpool substitute Daniel Sturridge leveled affairs with one minute remaining.
