LOAN WATCH: Chelsea's Hazard stars again for Zulte-Waregem

Thorgan Hazard produced a scintillating man of the match performance as his Zulte-Waregem defeated reigning Belgian champions Anderlecht 4-3 on the weekend.

The on-loan Chelsea forward started the game in amazing fashion by scoring a stunning strike in the 33rd minute, cancelling out Sacha Kljestan's opener to level the scores 1-1. Hazard didn't stop there as the action continued in the second half at the Regenboogstadion.

After Habib Habibou was fouled in the box, Hazard stepped up to take the penalty, which was brilliantly saved by Anderlecht's Silvio Proto.

Despite the penalty miss, Hazard delivered two pinpoint corners to give Zulte the lead back twice, through headers from Olafur Ingi Skulason and Karel D'Haene.

However, after Demy De Zeeuw equalized in the 78th minute for Anderlecht, the club from the capital received a major blow in stoppage time when Olivier Deschacht became the third person to be shown a red card.

It would be Hazard who delivered the resulting free kick to the head of substitute Frank Berrier to score the winner as Zulte sealed the win in the 91st minute.

In a match that featured 3 red cards and seven goals, Hazard showed his class with his goal and three assists helping the 'Essevee' leapfrog Anderlecht to take second spot on the Belgian Pro League table, four points behind leaders Standard Leige.
