On-loan Chelsea forward Thorgan Hazard shone for Belgian side Zulte Waregem as his strong early-season form continued on the weekend.
Hazard, brother of Blues star Eden, netted both goals to help Zulte clinch a 2-0 victory against 10-man Mons at the Regenboogstadion.
The 20-year old opened the scoring with a third minute penalty and would eventually seal the win for his team with an injury-time goal.
Hazard’s three goals in the first four games of the season have been influential for the Essevees, as the club currently sit second on the Belgian Pro League table on 10 points, equal with Lokeren and Club Brugge, but behind the undefeated Standard Liege.
Blues fans will be excited to see if Hazard can continue his form this season, in the hope that he can return to West London and emulate the performances of his brother.
