Chelsea's loanees once again proved to be the match winners for Vitesse Arnhem as goals from Christian Atsu and Patrick van Aanholt helped seal a 2-1 victory over FC Zwolle on Saturday.
Atsu, who moved to Vitesse on loan in September immediately after joining the Blues from FC Porto for a reported £3.5million fee, added his second goal in 13 appearances for Vitesse. The Ghana international finished off his penetrating run into the box by curling home a superb strike past Zwolle keeper Diederik Boer after three minutes of play.
Guyon Fernandez managed to equalize for Zwolle seven minutes later before Vitesse were unfortunate not to be ahead a minute later when Boer saved Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon's penalty.
However, with a minute remaining in play, van Aanholt made a darting run from left back behind the Zwolle defense, cut in past two defenders and slotted home past Boer for his fifth goal of the season.
The win sees Vitesse stay equal on points with Ajax at the top of the Eredivise table.
