Thibaut Courtois says he would be keen to spend another season on loan with Atletico Madrid.
The Chelsea goalkeeper has emerged as one of the best young keepers in world football since arriving at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in the summer of 2011 and he is not opposed to furthering his development in a regular first team environment in Spain.
“I am Chelsea player, but I am happy here,” he told AS. “I'll have to see what is best for them but I would be very happy if I stayed here for another year.
“I still haven't spoken to Chelsea though. If I can't play for them, then Atletico is the best club I can be at."
