LOAN WATCH: Chelsea golden boy Abraham does it again for Bristol City

Tammy Abraham is continuing to make a name for himself in the Championship with Bristol City.

The 19-year-old striker, who is on a season-long loan with the Robins from Chelsea, scored the equaliser before providing an assist for Jamie Paterson's winner in the 2-1 home triumph over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The talented teenager pounced on a poor backpass from Henri Lansbury before rounding Forest keeper Vladimir Stojkovic and slotting home in the 65th minute, following Apostolos Vellios' first-half opener.

Abraham's goal was his 8th in 11 league outings for City, taking his overall tally to 11 in 14 matches for Lee Johnson's side, and caused quite a reaction from one section of the home support.

Abraham, who was called up by the England U21 side and celebrated his 19th birthday on Sunday, then produced a quality side-footed pass for Paterson to fire home the 68th-minute winner against his former club.

And Abraham was again a happy man as his dream start to life at Ashton Gate continued.

Of the birthday boy, who is off to link up with the Young Lions, Johnson said: "I am thinking of ringing up whoever I can in the England set-up to beg them not to allow Tammy to be injured.

"It's his birthday tomorrow and I'll send him a text. If I don't send him a cake I hope he won't get the hump like Yaya Toure!"

He added: "We had a bit of luck with the back-pass for Tammy's goal, but our pressing was good throughout and Tammy still had to finish it."
