Dedryck Boyata looks certain to head back to Manchester City prematurely from his loan spell with FC Twente.
The 22-year old defender signed a season-long agreement with the Dutch outfit in August which is set to be revisited in January with manager Steve McClaren able to offload him if he wishes.
Boyata has made a total of 10 appearances for Twente since his arrival from City but his time in Enschede is likely to be cut short as McClaren looks elsewhere for defensive options.
