Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was in a buoyant mood after completing the capture of Scott Sinclair on Friday.
The talented 25-year old winger has joined Villa on loan from Manchester City for the remainder of the season and the Villa Park manager wants him to rediscover the form that saw the reigning Premier League champions pay Swansea City around £6million for back in August 2012.
Villa head to north London to take on Arsenal on Sunday and Lambert is hopeful former West Bromwich Albion loanee Sinclair can feature against the Gunners before becoming an integral part of his squad.
"He trained a little bit this afternoon after everything went through. He will train tomorrow and if everything goes okay then he will be in the squad for the Arsenal game," said Lambert on the club's official website.
"Scott is a player who I believe has great unfulfilled potential. I think he can do really well.
"He's 25 - he's got a lot of football left in him. He's really hungry to do well.
"Carles Gil has come in and given everyone a lift and you're hoping that Scott will have the same impact.
"Talking to him, he's come across as a good guy.
"If he does what he did at Swansea, we have a really good player."
