Ryo Miyaichi could be Wigan Athletic's surprise packet as they prepare for this weekend's FA Cup clash with Everton.
The Japanese winger, on loan from Arsenal, returned to action for the Latics Development Squad on Tuesday following an ankle injury and manager Roberto Martinez dropped a small hint that he could be used in the quarter-final fixture at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"We need to be careful we don't push him too early," said Martinez.
"But I do see his ankle is fully recovered, and it is just a matter of introducing him slowly and seeing how he responds to his individual programme."
