On-loan striker Andriy Voronin is keen to extend his spell at German club Hertha Berlin.

Currently on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season, the Ukrainian met with Hertha officials to discuss the possibility of extending his stay.

"Yes, we have spoken for the first time," Voronin told the Bild newspaper.

"It was a good talk. I think we are on a positive path," his agent Andrey Golowasch added.
