Victor Sikora is keen to stay on with the Perth Glory if coach Dave Mitchell wants him. The on-loan Dutchman has played the last four matches with the Glory and has impressed with his performances and if the opportunity arises to sign a contract at the club he would take it.
The club he is on loan from, Dallas, in America's MLS has been non-committal towards Sikora which helps in making a decision of where he would like to play.
"I prefer Perth," he said.
"I was on loan (to Dallas), they brought me in for the last six games, with an option for another three years," he explained.
"And I get an injury, so I miss three games, four games, and they said, 'we want you to stay here but we didn't see enough of you, so we don't pick up the (extra three-year) option but after a few weeks we'll come back to you '.
"So, they ring one-and-a-half weeks ago, (saying) that they want to re-sign me, but if Perth say we want you here (then I'll stay)."
