Aston Villa have confirmed that they have snapped up Simon Dawkins from Tottenham.
The 25-year old midfielder will spend the remainder of the season with Villa after a successful two-year loan stint with MLS club San Jose Earthquakes.
"Simon Dawkins has completed a late-night loan move to the end of the season from Tottenham. #AVFC," read a Twitter post from the Birmingham club.
