The race for Southampton striker Billy Sharp is heating up.
The Daily Star says Barnsley and Doncaster have joined Sheffield Wednesday in the race to sign Saints striker Sharp on loan.
Sharp, 27, spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, scoring 10 goals in 30 games.
He joined Saints from Doncaster in January 2012 for £1.8m but now looks set for another spell away from the south coast.
