LMA boss Bevan disappointed with Chelsea's treatment of Ancelotti

League Managers' Association boss Richard Bevan has revealed that he was disappointed with the way Chelsea went about sacking Carlo Ancelotti on the weekend.

The Italian was relieved of his responsibilities not long after the Blues lost 1-0 to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday and Bevan says it could have been handled in a more respectful manner.

"What Chelsea did was disrespectful to the manager, the fans, the club and the Premier League," he told the BBC.

"Mr Abramovich needs to look at the experience my members have got - something like 100,000 matches of experience.

"If you want to win you have to look at building cultures, look at [Manchester United manager] Sir Alex Ferguson - he has managed 2,000 matches.

"It will be very interesting to see what the Chelsea fans think about it."
