It has been suggested that Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris is already unsettled in north London following a summer move from Lyon, but the France international claims to have accepted the competition for places after making his third Premier League start of the season in a 3-1 victory over West Ham United on Sunday.
He told L'Equipe: "Will I remain in the starting XI? You will have to ask the coach.
"I am ready. There have been talks, but it is up to the coach to discuss the matter, not me.
"The important thing is to keep producing good performances.
"Things have not happened as it was forecasted, but that doesn't change my state of mind. I am a competitor, I want to do well and help the team.
"It is good to play, that is for sure, but I have to carry on working hard and take whatever opportunities I get."
