Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed former Lyon teammate Lisandro Lopez could've moved to White Hart Lane in January.

Lloris feels Spurs have missed out on a player who would have greatly aided their cause.

The France international goalkeeper told L'Equipe: "Lisandro? It seems he almost joined Tottenham.

"He is a great player, charismatic and one who has given a lot to Lyon.

"He is a top player, who works hard for the team and can win matches. He is a player that deserves the best."
