Joseba Llorente is thrilled with his move to Villarreal.
The prolific former Real Valladolid striker was unveiled as Villarreal's latest signing yesterday and declared: "I think of Villarreal as a major club. It may not have the history nor the titles of Real Madrid or Barcelona, but being runner-up in the league and everything they have done in recent years is very big. There are few teams in Europe who have the team and can do what Villarreal has achieved."
Llorente's arrival has strengthened Villarreal's relationship with Valladolid, which is expected to see Argentine striker Marco Ruben move in the opposite direction on-loan for next season.
