American goalkeeper Colin Burns has joined Norwegian second tier club Sarpsborg 08 on a two-year deal.
The 27-year old will leave Swedish Superettan (second division) club Ljungskile SK in January to team up with the Norway outfit and is happy to make the move but to stay in Scandinavia.
"Both club's seasons are about finished - with Sarpsborg, hopefully, in the promotion playoffs in the next few weeks," an excited Burns told Soccer365. "I join up with them in January.
"It shouldn't be too much of an adjustment in terms of living as the language is basically the same and it's just a hour-and-a-half drive up the road from where I live now.
"The food, lifestyle and climate are very similar so it should be a quick transition. I'm very comfortable living in Scandinavia so once I get all the little things worked out during the move, everything else should be pretty normal."
