Livorno striker Diego Tristan has revealed he could be playing for Roma.

"With (Giancarlo) Camolese I have found a consistency that is important for me and also my teammates," the former Deportivo La Coruna star enthused.

"I had been lacking a goal and when I saw the ball in the net I felt the taboo lift. We fought with all our heart against Roma and we were rewarded.

"In the past I have had the chance to come to Italy to play for Roma, when Fabio Capello was at the helm, but now I'm happy.

"I am proud that I made the choice to come and play for Livorno this summer."
