Livorno striker Cristiano Lucarelli concedes teammate Alessandro Diamanti will find it difficult to reject an offer from West Ham United.

Lucarelli said: "I know the story from what I've read in the newspapers. We hope he will stay, because for us he is a key player and would be a significant loss.

"But if the figures are true, it seems that the offer would be good even for the club and its budget.

"In my heart, however, I hope he can stay here."
