Livorno have trumped Lazio for Argentine striker Gaston Cellerino.
Cellerino had appeared set to join Lazio this week, but the Rome team only wanted to discuss a loan deal with the striker's parent club, Fenix Montevideo.
Meanwhile, Livorno have stepped in to land Cellerino for £2 million and the deal is expected to be confirmed later today.
