Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has expressed interest in new AC Milan signing Dominic Adiyiah.

The Ghana U20 striker will join Milan in January from Norway's Fredrikstad.

"We offered 500,000 Euros more than Milan, but the lad chose them. This is why we asked Galliani if he could be turned over to us on loan in January," said Spinelli.

"He said there were some things to consider. I hope that, after they stole him from under our noses, they can do this little favour…

"We could really use him in the final sprint towards safety."
