Livorno president Aldo Spinelli admits Juventus beat Torino for defender Dario Knezevic yesterday.

The Croatian has joined Juve on-loan for next season and Spinelli revealed: "Torino was very committed to signing the player. (President Urbano) Cairo wanted him on a contract, but the most important thing is the player's choice. And he agreed to join Juventus."
