Serse Cosmi admits he was delighted with a winning debut as Livorno coach over Roma on Sunday.
Cosmi saw his new club beat Roma for the first time in over 60 years.
"I missed Serie A so much," confessed Cosmi. "The level is lower compared to a couple of years ago but there is more space for youngsters.
"I didn't change much in the team since my appointment but there must have been something in the players' mind. Although against Roma we were also really lucky."
Questioned about Jose Mourinho and Antonio Cassano, Cosmi gave some spicy comments.
"Mourinho said rotating players was a weakness of Italian tacticians. But recently I have noticed he too has changed his mind
"Marcello Lippi wants to see whether Cassano has truly become a different guy. So we will have to wait to know whether he will go to the World Cup or not."
